      2026 Wisconsin State Fair

      • Dates- August 6-16
      • Location- Wisconsin State Fair Park 
      • Description- The Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis is the permanent home of the Wisconsin State Fair, presented by UScellular. The fair began in 1851 in Janesville and moved between cities until settling in West Allis in 1892. In 2025, the fair will celebrate its 174th year, aiming to attract over one million visitors during its 11-day run. The fair’s mission is to honor Wisconsin’s agricultural and industrial heritage through a family-friendly, affordable, and educational event that fosters lasting memories and traditions for people of all ages and backgrounds.

      2026 Minnesota State Fair

      • Dates- August 27 to Labor Day
      • Location-MN State Fairgrounds- St. Paul
      • Description- 

        The Minnesota State Fair began in 1854 as a territorial fair and became the official state fair in 1859 after Minnesota gained statehood. Now known as the “Great Minnesota Get-Together,” it is one of the region’s top tourist attractions, held annually for 12 days leading up to and including Labor Day. The fair’s mission is to educate and engage visitors with an innovative, entertaining, and inclusive showcase of Minnesota’s agriculture, art, and industry. It emphasizes exceptional value, customer service, and a safe, accessible environment. Located between Minneapolis and St. Paul, the 322-acre fairgrounds feature historic architecture and host hundreds of year-round events. The fair is supported by nearly 80 full-time staff and over 1,900 seasonal and fair-time employees.
