1. Can you create a wood map for any lake or golf course?
Yes, we can! All you need to do is give us the name of the lake or golf course you would like, along with the location such as city and state. Once we have this information, we get started with the research and product creation. We can create 3D wood maps of lakes and golf courses anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Mexico.
2. What if my lake is only 8ft.?
Not a problem! Whether your lake is 8 feet or 80 feet, we scale our layers to ensure you get at least 8 - 9 layers of contouring and dimension in each map.
3. Will you be able to capture all the tiny islands in my map?
Due to the complexity and size of various lakes, some small islands and humps may not appear in the final 3D map. Pieces around 1/4" are particularly susceptible to being lost during the cutting process, though results can vary.
4. Will I see a proof ahead of time?
Yes! We would not send a finished wood map without your approval first. After you place your order, you will receive a proof via email that shows all of the customizations you requested. Our goal is to make sure that we have included everything you want before we begin any laser work.
5. How long does it take until I get my finished product?
Our production timelines are tailored to meet the specific demands of our customers. The completion of your product will depend on the current demand and order volume.
We strive to deliver your finished product within the following estimated timeframes:
Low Demand: 2-4 weeks
Moderate Demand: 4-6 weeks
High Demand: 6-8 weeks
These timelines are estimates and may vary based on various factors, including the complexity of your order. We will keep you informed throughout the production process and notify you of any changes to the expected delivery date. 6. Can I pick up my wood map if I am local to the Twin Cities?
Yes! We offer free pick up in South Saint Paul.

8. How accurate is the lake information?
We pull all over our lake information from the state DNR or lake finder to get our depths, acreage and county information but you know your lake best. If you have different max depths or surface areas you would like stated, we can change that at the time of proof.
